My Wedding Album
Jason and I have been married for 18 years! When we were married, he was only 18 and I was 22 and Whit was only 4 and was my Junior Maid of Honor. My parents obviously didn't think it would last so they gave me a limited budget and minimal blessings (LOL). But we made a vow that once we were married for half of Jason's life, we'd renew our vows on our dime!
We despise tradition - we're allergic to the social norm and I am a Peter Pan - I love to dress up! Also, I have a rather dark state of mind as I'm a murder mystery author with a hint of the paranormal influence so I chose the Corpse Bride as my theme! What is MAJOR awesome is that Tammy (the blonde bridesmaid) and Nat (the blonde groomsman) were in our original wedding and both were at the vow renewal ceremony! Wooooo hoooooooo - that's awesome! Unfortunately due to scheduling, a lot of my family and Jason's family couldn't make it to the vow renewal but we had a lot of our friends there to share the awesome day with us.
The vow renewal will be shown in Episode 4 of Big Rich Texas, Season Two. I can't wait to see what it looks like on the small screen!
