Dr. Bon randomly posted a silly clay-mation video on YouTube. Well, a series of them. No apologies for who sat through them.

Mountain Dew execs stumbled upon the weirdness and offered a contract for 9 months to 'lease' the video.

Um. Yes. 

Then, asked for an extension for 3 more months. This commercial aired on television and at sporting events' jumbotrons, etc.  If you don't put things out there in the universe, you can't win. 

In 2012, Bon and Whit were on a reality show called Big Rich Texas. They gained popularity as the favorite 'Mother-Daughter Duo' by a 65.2% vote! 

Hasbro invited the duo to do a commercial for game nights - to promote families and friends playing more of their games at home parties, etc.  They flew to a very affluent neighborhood in upstate New York to film this, along with other stars such as Coco Austin.
